【摘要】:Whenanarticleistobeelectroplated,itisnecessarytoconsidernotonlythecharacteristicsoftheelectroplatingprocess,butalsothedesignoftheparttominimizeelectroplatingandfinishingcostsandsolutiondragoutaswellastoimproveappearanceandfunctionality.Itisoftenpossibleduringthedesignandengineeringstagestomakesmalladjustmentsinshapethatwillresultinconsiderablebenefittowardabetterqualitypartatalowercost.Thespecificpropertyofanelectroplatingprocessthatwouldrequiresomeattentiontothedetailsofoptionaldesigns,isthethrowingpoweroftheelectroplatingsolution.Throwingpoweristheimprovementofthecoatingdistributionovertheprimarycurrentdistributiononanelectrode(usuallycathode)inagivensolution,underspecifiedconditions.1.1Thispracticecoversdesigninformationforpartstobeelectroplatedonracks.Therecommendationscontainedhereinarenotmandatory,butareintendedtogiveguidancetowardgoodpractice.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
