【摘要】:ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardrefinesthedescriptionoftheApplicationLayercontainedintheBasicReferenceModelforOSI(ITU-TRec.X.200|ISO/IEC7498-1).ItprovidesaframeworkforcoordinatingthedevelopmentofexistingandfutureApplicationLayerRecommendationsandStandards.ItisprovidedforreferencebyApplicationLayerRecommendationsandStandards.InparticularthisRecommendation|InternationalStandard:a)definesthenatureofRecommendationsandStandardsintheApplicationLayerandtherelationshipsamongthem;b)definesthearchitecturalframeworkinwhichindividualOSIApplicationLayerprotocolsaredeveloped.c)definesconceptswhichprovideaflexibleapproachtostructuringintheApplicationLayer;d)definesthecategoriesofidentifiableobjectswhicharenecessaryforthespecificationandoperationofprotocols;e)relatesdistributedinformationprocessingactivitiestotheRecommendationsandStandardsintheApplicationLayer;f)structures,andrelates,specificationsinApplicationLayerRecommendationsandStandards;g)identifiesthevariouskindsofspecificationnecessaryinApplicationLayerRecommendationsandStandards.ThisRecommendation|InternationalStandardisprovidedforreferencebyApplicationLayerRecommendationsandStandards.ItspurposeistofacilitateacoherentandmodularapproachtothestructuringofspecificationsforApplicationLayerbehaviour.ItneitherspecifiesservicesnorprotocolsforOSI;norisitanimplementationspecificationforsystems,norabasisforappraisingtheconformanceofimplementations.
