【摘要】:ThismethodisfordevelopingprecisionstatementsasreportedinUOPmethodsandrelativebiasofthesamemethodbetweendifferentlaboratories.Thecalculationofprecision,intermsofrepeatabilityandintermediateprecision(withinalaboratory),reproducibility(betweenlaboratories)andrelativebias(betweenlaboratories)isdescribed.Precisionstatementsinmethodshavinga98orlatersuffixweredevelopedbytheproceduredescribed;methodshavingan88through97suffixusedUOP888-88,whilemethodswithsuffixesearlierthan88usedUOP666-82.ThefeaturesofUOP999areasfollows:Minimumof16analysesrequiredwithemphasisonmultipleconcentrationlevelsBetteridentificationofthecomponentsofvariationandrepeatabilityestimatesAlignmentwithASTMrepeatability,intermediateprecision,andreproducibilitydefinitionsRelativebiasbetweenlaboratorieswith95%confidenceintervalUOP999istheminimumguidelineforestimatingtheinitialprecisionforneworrevisedmethods.Onceaneworrevisedmethodisinuse,areferencesample,ifavailable,shouldberunonaregularbasis.When16analyseshavebeencompleted,individualandrangecontrolchartsaretobeusedtoestimatethelong-termUOPrepeatabilityandaretobemaintainedonanongoingbasis.TheexamplecalculationsinUOP999aremadeusingMinitab?astatisticalsoftwarepackage.ThedetailsofthecalculationsareinUOP999-97Supplement.
