【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseasacontrol,acceptance,andassessmenttest.Moisturecanseriouslyaffecttheprocessabilityofplastics.Itispossiblethathighmoisturecontentwillcausesurfaceimperfections(thatis,splayorbubbling)ordegradationbyhydrolysis.Lowmoisture(withhightemperature)hasbeenknowntocausesolidphasepolymerization.Thephysicalpropertiesofsomeplasticsaregreatlyaffectedbythemoisturecontent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthequantitativedeterminationofwaterdownto20ppminplasticsusingarelativehumiditysensor.1.2ValuesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.3Specimenstestedinthistestmethodcanreachorexceed250x00B0;C,usecautionwhenhandlingthemaftertestinghascompleted.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.
